Grampa Adventure Time

I penciled the cover story to Grampa Simpson's Choose Your Own Adventure, written by Max Davison. It's due out next week, 12 /16/15. Only now it's called Grampa Simpson's Unbelievable Adventures, for boring legal reasons. Here's the hype from Bongo:

"A One-Shot Wonder unlike any that has gone before! Join Grampa Simpson as he takes you on an unbelievable tale of swashbuckling derring-do that spans the entire cosmos! It's the wildest ride Bongo Comics has ever offered. And best of all, YOU take the story wherever you want to go! The possibilities are endless and the options inexhaustible. You can't go wrong when you choose Grampa Simpson's Unbelievable Adventures!"

Happy Halloteen!

This is a limerick from the from the first piece I drew for Bart Simpson's Treehouse of Horror.  "The Lexicon of Lurid Limericks" consisted of an entire alphabet of putrid poems, and was co-written With Steve Sullivan, with color by Dave Stewart.

The Fat Arm of the Law

Panels from a crazy Grampa Simpson story I'm penciling. I mean the story is crazy--though it might also apply to Abe Simpson himself.

MARS ATTRACTS!

"Mars Attacks Garbage Pail Kids" is a story by me and co-writer Doug Rice, with nifty color work by Jason Millet. It appears in GARBAGE PAIL KIDS: GROSS ENCOUNTERS OF THE TURD KIND, which also features stories by Ryan Browne, Roger Langridge, Joe Simko and James Kochalka. Now that's a line-up full of disgusting potential. In shops 6/24/2015.

Go Fish!

Just completed a story for this year's SpongeBob Comics annual. It has angry mobs of fish-men, gigantic tomatoes, and the usual four-armed dancers juggling chainsaws. Trust me, it's wacky.

Color by semi-aquatic Jason Millet.

Mars Attracts!

My cover art for a story called MARS ATTACKS the GARBAGE PAIL KIDS. For the sci-fi issue of IDW's GARBAGE PAIL KIDS comic book.

Sam I am not.

Originally I built the cover to the second issue of PLASTIC MAN AND THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS around Uncle Sam. Brilliant, thought I, until my editor reminded me that Sam isn't IN the second issue. D'OH!                © 2015 DC ENTERTAINMENT

Plasticity

I drew the covers to PLASTIC MAN AND THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS, a two-issue "Convergence" series for DC. This is the cover to the first issue. Plastic Man (as created and drawn by Jack Cole) is my favorite comic book character. Colors by John Kalisz.
